Hamburg and Stockholm are around 1200 km apart – and you can feel it in the climate. Stockholm has over 18 hours of daylight in midsummer, an advantage for brightness, but also longer and colder winters with January temperatures around -3°C. Hamburg is wetter and windier, has milder winters and less dramatic seasons than the Swedish capital.
